"Sejarah dan Asal Usul Tanaman Lidah Buaya"

Lidah Buaya atau yang biasa disebut Aloe vera (Latin: Aloe barbadensis Milleer) merupakan sejenis tanaman berduri yang berasal dari daerah kering di benua Afrika. Tamanan Lidah Buaya ini telah dikenal dan digunakan sejak ribuan tahun yang lalu karena khasiat dan manfaatnya yang luar biasa.

Tanaman Lidah Buaya memiliki beragam jenis. Setidaknya ada sekitar 200 jenis Tanaman Lidah Buaya yang telah diketahui. Dari ke 200 jenis tersebut yang paling bagus digunakan untuk pengobatan adalah jenis Aloevera Barbadensis Miller. Jenis ini setidaknya mengandung 72 jenis zat yang dibutuhkan oleh tubuh.

Dari 72 zat tersebut terdapat 18 macam asam amino, karbohidrat, lemak, air, vitamin, mineral, enzim, hormon, dan zat golongan obat. Antara lain antibiotik, antiseptik, antibakteri, antikanker, antivirus, antijamur, antiinfeksi, antiperadangan, antipembengkakan, antiparkinson, antiaterosklerosis, serta antivirus yang resisten terhadap antibiotik.
